Hello! My name is Jennifer Prashak. I am a Kindergarten teacher at Crocker Elementary. I am an Ankeny High School graduate and I am excited to be back in my hometown teaching. I graduated with my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and Spanish along with an endorsement in Special Education from St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa. Later, I received my Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Erikson Institute in Chicago, Illinois. I taught five years in the Chicago Public Schools and this is my fourth year teaching in Ankeny.

I enjoy teaching Kindergarten because children are so inquisitive at this age and always eager to learn more. It is very rewarding to see my students' growth in all developmental areas by the end of the school year!

I like to spend my free time with my family, friends, and dog, Sasha! My husband and I love to travel, run, and go to the movies.

I look foward to another great year of kindergarten!
